Graduate students accepted into the program are provided full tuition support and salary.

URGE's primary objectives are to deepen the community's knowledge of the effects of racism on the participation and retention of Black, Brown, and Indigenous people in Geoscience.

The GPS Buddy Program seeks to partner undergraduate and incoming graduate students with graduate mentors to facilitate a smooth transition to university life at Caltech. One of the main goals of our buddy program is to offer students who are new the opportunity to start their undergrad and graduate journeys with a supportive first connection.
